Nick Frasso missed the entire 2024 season after shoulder surgery and a hip procedure. He’ll be on the mound to start for the Dodgers on Saturday against the Royals at Camelback Ranch, the first game action for the right-hander in 17 months.
The 6’5 right-hander last pitched on September 14, 2023 for Triple-A Oklahoma City, and was added to the 40-man roster that November. Frasso was named to four top-100 prospect lists ahead of the 2024 season, and now the 26-year-old is back on the mound.
Chandler Champlain starts on the mound for Kansas City.
Saturday’s game will be televised by SportsNet LA, with Tim Neverett and Rick Monday on the call. AM 570 radio will simulcast the SportsNet LA feed. The game will also be broadcast in Spanish on KTNQ 1020 AM, with Pepe Yñiguez, José Móta, and Luis Cruz on the call.
