Tyler Glasnow makes his 2025 Cactus League debut on Monday in Goodyear, and could be facing his former teammate Gavin Lux, now with Cincinnati
The Dodgers will travel to Goodyear on Monday afternoon to play the Reds, and potentially could face old friend Gavin Lux.
Lux, a Dodgers first-round draft pick in 2016 and the regular second baseman in two of the last three seasons, was traded to Cincinnati on January 6. He’d have to bat against Tyler Glasnow, making his first Cactus League start this season.
Glasnow and Blake Snell will likely start the two Dodgers exhibitions in Tokyo on March 15-16, manager Dave Roberts told reporters on Saturday.
Right-hander Carson Spiers is slated to pitch first for Cincinnati on Monday, followed on the mound in some order by Reds teammates Brady Singer, Brent Suter, Tony Santillan, Emilio Pagán, and Scott Barlow.
Tim Neverett and Rick Monday will call the game for SportsNet LA. The Spanish-language radio crew of Pepe Yñiguez, José Móta, and Luis Cruz will call their fifth and final game of the Arizona portion of spring training. No English-language radio for this game.
