He also homered at Surprise Stadium against the Texas Rangers on Saturday. … Tibbs’ two-run home run in the fourth inning was also his second this spring. Acquired from the Boston Red Sox in the Dustin May trade last July, Tibbs also had a walk and is 6 for 21 this spring. … The game was tied 3-3 in the eighth inning when Zyhir Hope singled and Hainline followed two batters later with a two-run home run to break the tie. … Santiago Espinal continues to make a strong case for a spot on the Dodgers’ bench.
