The Dodgers added left-handed relief pitcher Ronan Kopp to the 40-man roster on Tuesday. He was drafted by Los Angeles in the 12th round of the 2021 MLB amateur draft.
Kopp split the 2025 season between Triple-A Oklahoma City and Double-A Tulsa, where he combined for a 3.43 ERA and 91 strikeouts in 49 games (57 2/3 innings). He had a 14.2-strikeout-per-nine-innings rate in his fifth Minor League season, while also allowing just one home run the entire season.
The left-hander had an opposing hitters’ slash line of .220/.352/.292/.644 in 2025. He finished the season with six scoreless outings and 15 strikeouts in nine innings through September.
In five Minor League seasons, Kopp has a 3.25 career ERA through 244 innings. He has recorded 381 strikeouts. The 23-year-old possesses two 60-grade pitches in fastball and slider, per MLB Pipeline.
Kopp was drafted out of South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born in Baldwin Park, California.
