Families gather, food of the season has been prepared, music and song are heard, and expectation of Santa’s arrival looms large in the hearts of the young and young at heart.
What will Santa leave under the Dodgers tree at 1000 Vin Scully Ave, Los Angeles, CA?

Some presents were opened early. The present of Edwin Díaz, the new closer, was opened by Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, along with refurbished pitchers Brusdar Graterol, River Ryan, and Gavin Stone. Doc can be forgiven for his faux pas of opening early considering how he was so disappointed in last year’s gifts of Tanner Scott, Blake Treinen, and Kirby Yates.
There is a huge box under the tree marked: To be opened by Andrew Friedman. Who could have sent such a large box? Could it be an exchange gift from the Detroit Tigers?
Wait! There’s another box for Andrew partially hidden behind the tree. Might that box contain a new outfielder, infielder? Perhaps both!
The stockings hold gifts as well, not the grand, expensive presents, but complementary pieces to round out the 2026 roster. Perhaps a re-gifted backup catcher? Gifts in need of repair that can’t be played with until mid-season like utility player Kiké Hernández and reliever Evan Phillips?

Although he tried to play through the injury, he eventually needed extensor repair surgery.

What do you think Dodgers fans? Which players will be under the Dodgers tree this year?
Could starting pitcher Tarik Skubal be the large exchange gift from the Tigers?
Will the Dodgers work out a gift exchange with the Boston Red Sox for outfielder Jarren Duran?
Could free agent infielder Bo Bichette gift-wrap himself to the Dodgers?
Could free agent backup catcher Reese McGuire be in Roberts’ stocking if Dalton Rushing is part of the gift exchange for Skubal?
Guessing what is in a package before opening is part of Christmas, but remember – no shaking allowed.
Merry Christmas Dodgers fans!
Always remember the reason for the Christmas season:
“For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.”
