by Megan Garcia
Among a group of established veterans, second-year outfielder Andy Pages has been a top performer for the Dodgers this season.
A difficult start in April transformed into a strong season for Pages, one that garnered All-Star consideration. His teammates and coaches have applauded his ability to overcome the early season challenges. Pages’ .275/.316/.461/.777 slash line, 19 home runs and 66 RBI have made him one of the most productive hitters for the Dodgers.
Pages has now earned this distinction: He is the Dodgers’ 2025 Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Heart and Hustle Award winner.
The award is presented annually to a player who demonstrates a passion for baseball and embodies the values, spirit and traditions of the game on each team. Active and former players vote on the team awards and will vote again to select a final winner.
The overall winner will be announced in mid-November on MLB Network.
Pages was named the National Co-Player of the Week in late April. He went 13-for-20 with three home runs, three doubles, six RBI and one stolen base between April 22 and April 27. He slashed .650/.650/1.250/1.900 in that span.
The 24-year-old outfielder has set new career highs in hits, home runs, RBI and stolen bases in 2025. He ranks second in home runs and RBI on the Dodgers. He also rates at seven outs above average and eight defensive runs saved on defense.
