Can G’s get back on track and get 3 points from The Banc?
LA go with what looks like their strongest XI among players available:
Here’s LAFC’s XI:

The LA Galaxy are on a two-game slide, but generally what the doctor orders when they need a pick me up is a game against El Trafico rivals LAFC, which is what we have on Saturday at Banc of California Stadium.
The Galaxy have lost their last couple games 2-1 and it feels like they could be hitting a wall. It’s hard to say since they’ve been so inconsistent with players available the past few months, and trying to get through a long stretch sometimes stretches teams, even good ones. But LAFC are in truly bad form, winless in seven and a lot of chatter surrounding the futures of Bob Bradley and Carlos Vela (who’s out for this game by the way). LAFC haven’t played like a terrible team, really, but the results can certainly do the talking.
Chicharito is listed questionable by the Galaxy for this match, but he’s on “All-Star suspension” in the league’s notes, and all indications are he will not be available for this game. Carlos Vela (quad) is out for LAFC, and among their starters the other major absence is the season-long injury to Eddie Segura (ACL).
This is a game that will have high emotions on and off the field, and we know the Galaxy get up for this one and win it more often than not. But with both of the superstars on the respective teams out, who will step up in the breach? It’s a “road” game for the Galaxy but that hasn’t stopped them from getting results in the past, and this is an opponent ripe for the taking. Should be a very good one.
According to our friends at DraftKings Sportsbook, as of Saturday morning, LA are (+370), LAFC are (-160) and a draw is at (+370). So the Galaxy are big underdogs in this one, which is curious considering how terrible LAFC have been lately.
