Patrick Mahomes has made a name for himself with a number of no-look passes during the regular season. But Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford has apparently mastered that art too.
During practice this weekend, Stafford took a pass from center and dropped back as the backfield cleared out. After looking downfield for an open man, Stafford tossed a pass across his body to running back Darrell Henderson – without turning his eyes from downfield – who easily caught the ball.
It was only a short clip and only in practice, but plenty of people were impressed. The clip has thousands of likes on the Rams official Twitter page as well as Bleacher Report’s Twitter page.
Rams fans are understandably excited to see what the team can do now that Stafford is in the fold. Plenty took to the comments section expressing as much:
Extend this man’s contract, so I can feel safe with getting his jersey 😂 https://t.co/2QgwUoIMuH

That was a nice pass, though it wasn’t exactly “a dime” as Bleacher Report said.
Nevertheless, the Rams are hoping that Matthew Stafford can offer them that kind of throwing ability once the regular season starts.
The Rams traded an arm and a leg, along with their five-year incumbent starter in Jared Goff, to bring Stafford to LA. After making the Divisional Round of the playoffs last year, the expectation is that Stafford can get them over the hump this year.
Will we see any no-look passes from Stafford this coming season?
