Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 10/31/21
PFF posted an interesting fantasy scenario pitting the leagues best offensive players against the best defensive players. On the offensive side, not impressed with PFF that Patrick Mahomes was selected as the sole quarterback to play in this scenario or that Cooper Kupp was left out and instead Davante Adams and Stefon Diggs were the two receivers. However, the part they did get correct about constructing a fantasy team like this one was that if any NFL team were to be represented twice on this list, it should be the Los Angeles Rams. Shout out to the Dallas Cowboys for also being represented twice but that’s it. Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey are both on this fantasy lineup in the hypothetical matchup of best on best.

Here are my three takes on the Team A vs Team B question:
Team B wins because Mahomes is trying to hard. Mahomes reaches for the big play not progressing through his reads like he would need to against Team B with Ramsey and Diggs guarding and Aaron Donald and Myles Garrett on his back. Mahomes forces a throw that gets tipped by Bobby Wagner and Ramsey finishes with the interception.
Team A wins because Trevon Diggs gets burnt. Diggs tries at first to guard his brother Stefon Diggs and gets beat. Then they switch, Ramsey shuts down Stefon Diggs and Trevon Diggs gets burnt by Adams.
Team B wins because Derrick Henry almost takes over but doesn’t. Henry runs to the opposite side of Donald, gets past Garrett, stiff arms Wagner, trucks Diggs, but Ramsey is on the spot in time and with enough force to take advantage of the lost momentum and shove Henry out of bounds on the final play.
What’s your take on this best on best matchup?
