The Rams were missing five starters due to injury on Wednesday during their first practice of the week, including Andrew Whitworth. It’s as banged up as this team has been all season, though there’s hope that all five of those starters will play Sunday against the Texans.
On Thursday, Jalen Ramsey missed practice with an illness. Sean McVay didn’t speak to the media so it’s unclear what his status for Sunday looks like, but it’s something to monitor.
Whitworth, Jordan Fuller, Robert Rochell, Sebastian Joseph-Day and Terrell Lewis were all held out of practice again on Thursday, too.
Friday will be a big day of practice for the Rams’ six starters who were absent today. McVay expressed optimism this week that Fuller and Rochell would be able to play against the Texans, but it’s not as certain that Whitworth, Joseph-Day and Lewis will take the field Sunday.
