The Los Angeles Rams got back on track with a 45-17 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 14 to improve to 10-3 and reclaim the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
The Rams offense was dominant as they scored on their first five drives, beginning with a 26-yard field goal from Harrison Mevis. Blake Corum and Kyren Williams then added rushing touchdowns before Matthew Stafford found Puka Nacua for a 28-yard score.
Colby Parkinson also caught a touchdown, while Williams and Nacua each found the end zone for a second time to give the Rams six touchdowns on the day.
According to ESPN’s Sarah Barshop, the Rams scored three passing touchdowns and three rushing touchdowns in the same game for the first time since Dec. 30, 2001, against the Indianapolis Colts:

The Rams, still playing in St. Louis at the time, defeated the Peyton Manning-led Colts, 42-17, that day behind a stellar performance from the “Greatest Show on Turf.”
Kurt Warner threw for three touchdowns in the win, including two to Torry Holt and another to Marshall Faulk. Faulk also rushed for three more touchdowns to give him four on the day.
The Rams finished 14-2 that season and made it to Super Bowl XXXVI, where they would lose to the New England Patriots.
Rams offense too much for Cardinals
The Rams offense was clicking on all cylinders as the Cardinals had no answers for both the pass and run games.
Matthew Stafford continued his MVP-caliber season, completing 22-of-31 passes for 281 yards and three touchdowns. After turning the ball over three times in the Panthers loss, he was able to take care of it in this one.
Two of Stafford’s touchdowns went to Puka Nacua, who was simply unstoppable. He made a few incredible catches on the day and finished with seven catches for 167 yards and the two scores.
On the ground, the Rams rushed for 249 yards and averaged 6.9 yards per carry as the offensive line was opening up holes all day.
Blake Corum had his best game as a Ram, carrying it 12 times for 128 yards and two scores while Kyren Williams had 84 yards on 13 carries and a touchdown of his own.
