Picking the Rams to win has proved to be a fruitful decision this season as they’ve begun the year 6-1 through seven weeks. Their only loss came to the Cardinals, who were the last remaining unbeaten team until the Packers beat them on Thursday night.
The Rams now have an opportunity to tie the Cardinals at the top of the NFC West on Sunday when they visit the 1-6 Texans, and it’s hardly surprising that experts are leaning heavily toward Los Angeles’ way.
According to NFL Pick Watch, every expert who has submitted a pick is taking the Rams to beat the Texans outright this weekend. The Rams are one of two teams being picked by 100% of experts this week, with the Bills being the other; Buffalo hosts the Dolphins on Sunday.
It’s the second week in a row that every expert has picked the Rams to win, though they were given a scare by the Lions last week until Jalen Ramsey intercepted Jared Goff in the end zone to help secure the victory.
Things get more interesting when you factor in the spread. It’s still a high number of experts picking the Rams to cover the spread, with 81% leaning that way. That’s the second-highest percentage of any game this week, only trailing the Bengals, who 82% of experts are taking to cover the spread against the Jets.
