The Saturday night game between the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium was an interesting one as both teams just couldn’t seem to get out of their own way. But once again, there was controversy on a game-deciding play.
Down 22-21 with 2:45 remaining in the fourth quarter, Bills quarterback Josh Allen found wideout Khalil Shakir 15 yards downfield. But after seemingly going down, he sprang back up, shook off some tacklers and ran into the endzone for a Bills touchdown.
However, on review it was determined that Shakir was down by contact. The Bills were moved back to the Chargers’ 28-yard line and ultimately were able to run out the clock to set up a game-winning field goal, which Tyler Bass made to secure a 24-22 win.
Nevertheless, fans have been debating whether or not Shakir should have been credited with the touchdown. Based on some of the responses, it seems that they’re split pretty much down the middle.

“It was close but I think it should’ve stood,” one user replied.
“Very close but split second shows no td,” wrote another.
“I seriously don’t understand how they overturned it,” a third wrote.
