Rountree is back in action after being inactive against CLE and BAL.
If all worries regarding Austin Ekeler’s availability weren’t put to rest yesterday when the running back put himself into his own fantasy lineup, this week’s inactives should put the final nail in the coffin.
After being active for the Browns and Ravens games, running back Joshua Kelley is one of five players who will be inactive against the Patriots. In his place, rookie Larry Rountree will be active after being inactive for week five and six. He’ll likely see a handful of snaps alongside Justin Jackson.
The other four inactive players today are quarterback Easton Stick, safety Mark Webb, fullback Gabe Nabers, and offensive tackle Trey Pipkins.
This is the first game that both Nabers and Pipkins will be inactive this season. Pipkins’ status indicates that this coaching is finally giving Brenden Jaimes his chance to solidify a spot as one of the team’s extra offensive lineman for game days.
