Good morning, Chargers fans.
The NFL trade deadline is set to expire later today at 4 p.m. ET and it’s really starting to set in that the Chargers are likely not going to be involved in any deals beforehand and that’s a real bummer following the recent two-game skid.
So for today’s discussion, I want to hear about one “miracle” move that you’d love to see the Chargers make before today’s deadline, Realistic or not, I want to hear it.
Now, mine isn’t necessarily the craziest idea, but hear me out. The Cowboys have a right tackle named Terrence Steele. He’s a formerly undrafted player out of Texas Tech who has started 19 of the 22 games he’s played in so far. As of week nine, he’s allowed zero sacks and has an overall PFF grade of 73.9. He initially got into the starting lineup due to an injury to La’el Collins, but now the Collins has returned, Dallas may be willing to part with the young tackle for draft capital or extra help at a weak position to help push them over the top in a year where they’re truly looking like contenders.
Thoughts? Now let me know what you’re all thinking in the comments below.
