Football. Is. BACK!
This Thursday marks the return of the NFL with the year’s first preseason exhibition — the Hall of Fame Game — between the Cowboys and the Steelers. That will be the week’s only contest before the rest of the slate kicks off a week later on August 12. The Chargers will face the Rams inside SoFi Stadium a week from this upcoming Saturday for their first preseason tilt.
It’s not just that football is back this week, but it’s officially back for the long haul. Starting this week, there is a football game each and every week from now until the Super Bowl early next year.
We’ve finally made it: there is now a pro or college football game every week all the way through the Super Bowl.
