The team further cements themselves into the future of the Los Angeles area.
On Monday afternoon, the Chargers announced some pretty big news. Unfortunately, it did not involve trading for a defensive or offensive tackle.
According to a news release by the team, the Chargers are planning to construct their new corporate headquarters and training facility on a 14-acre site in El Segundo, California. The site is just seven miles away from SoFi Stadium and three miles away from Los Angeles International Airport.
“When searching for a location to establish our hub of football and business operations, we didn’t leave a single stone unturned,” said Owner Dean Spanos. “This process played out for more than four years because we weren’t willing to settle. Good enough wasn’t going to cut it. We wanted great, and we finally found it.”

Just like their new stadium, the Chargers wanted state-of-the-art across the board. Some of the amenities included in the facility include a 3,100 square-foot media center, a roof-top hospitality club and a full eSports gaming and content creation studio. That last part is incredibly important as players like Austin Ekeler, Mike Williams, and Justin Jones have all taken steps forward off the field to immerse themselves in that niche.
Go ahead and take a look at the concept photos released by the team and let us know what you think of the future home of the Chargers.
