Training camp begins today for the Chargers and after not being able to last year, fans are going to have the opportunity to attend some of the public practices this summer.
Find out what you should know:
1. Where are the open practices?
All practices at Jack Hammett Sports Complex in Costa Mesa, CA with the exception of FanFest, which will be held at SoFi Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 8.
2. When are open practices?
The full schedule can be found here. Practices begin at 9 a.m. However, FanFest will start at 3:30 pm PT.
3. How much does to cost to attend?
Training camp is free to the public. Tickets are limited, so make sure to get yours while they last. They can be found here.
4. Where is parking available?
Parking is available at Costa Mesa High School and at Orange Coast College for $10.
5. Where can I get players’ autographs?
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, fans won’t be able to get up-close like previous years, but they will still have an opportunity to receive special autographed items from players in a fun, socially distanced manner.
6. Can I bring my camera?
Fans are welcome to bring personal cameras and cell phones, but video cameras and telephoto lenses longer than six inches (detachable or non-detachable) are not allowed.
7. What else can I bring in?
Bags will be checked upon arrival to camp. Fans may bring their own food, water and soft drinks, however alcoholic beverages may not be brought into Jack Hammett Sports Complex at any time. Smoking is not allowed. Other items that are allowed include hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, small coolers, binoculars, strollers.
8. Will the Chargers merchandise be available?
Yes, there will be a merchandise tent located on site during the morning practices.
