LeBron James is making his long-awaited return to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday afternoon.
James has not played since Feb. 26 due to a foot injury. After testing himself during warmups, James was ruled good to go for today’s game against the Chicago Bulls.
LeBron’s return is major news as the Lakers attempt to wrap up a postseason berth, so it’s no surprise that people have been discussing it on social media.
“He’s backkkkkk,” one fan said in response to pregame video of James dunking.

James will come off the bench for today’s game, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania. He’s averaging 29.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and 6.9 assists per game this season.
The Lakers are currently 37-37 and in eighth place in the Western Conference. They are only 1.5 games out of the sixth spot and one game from finishing 11th and missing the playoffs altogether.
