James has missed the last month of games after suffering a tendon injury in his right foot.
His return comes at a pivotal time since the Lakers are holding onto a playoff spot by a thread. They’re currently 37-37, which is good for eighth in the Western Conference.
Despite being 38, James has been outstanding once again, averaging 29 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists per game.
He’ll look to lead the Lakers to a big win when this game gets underway at 3:30 p.m. ET. If they do, they’ll leapfrog the Minnesota Timberwolves for the seventh spot in the conference.
The contest will be regionally televised in Los Angeles and Chicago.
