Losing Game-1 of the 2025 World Series isn’t the end of the world for the Dodgers but it’s definitely a step in that direction.
So, what went wrong in the Dodgers ugly 11-4 loss to the clearly overpowering Toronto Blue Jays in front of a crowd of 44,353 at Rogers Centre on Friday night? Without beating this dead horse into the ground, this is what went wrong:

The absolute back breaker was the strikeout of 24-year-old Dodgers center fielder Andy Pages who, on a full count with the bases loaded and one out in the top of the second inning, struck out swinging on a pitch from Blue Jays starting right-hander Trey Yesavage that was well below the strike zone on what would have been (and should have been) ball four that would have (and should have) made it 2-0 Dodgers.
