MLB, Dodgers announce 2022 preliminary schedule

Major League Baseball announced the preliminary schedule for the 2022 season Wednesday, with the Dodgers opening the season March 31 against the Colorado Rockies at Dodger Stadium.
Next year will include All-Star Week at Dodger Stadium, including the T-Mobile Home Run Derby on July 18 and the All-Star Game presented by Mastercard on July 19.
The Dodgers are home for a number of holidays, including Memorial Day against the Pittsburgh Pirates on May 30, Father’s Day against the Cleveland Guardians on June 19, July 4th against the Rockies and Labor Day against the San Francisco Giants on Sept. 5.
In addition to the Angels (June 14–15 at home, July 15–16 in Anaheim), the Dodgers will face the American League Central during Interleague Play. The Detroit Tigers (April 29-May 1), Cleveland Guardians (June 17–19) and Minnesota Twins (Aug. 9–10) will visit Dodger Stadium, while the Dodgers will make road trips to Minnesota’s Target Field on April 12–13, Chicago’s Guaranteed Rate Field on June 7–9) and Kansas City’s Kauffman Stadium on Aug. 12–14
